Today, it is my birthday. I'm going to the park with some friends tonight for hotdogs and shmallows and games and stuff. i'm such a child. ;)

I've noticed something over the years.

It seems to me that women get blamed for cheating more than guys do. Girls get into cat fights with other girls all the time and say things like "STAY AWAY FROM MY MAN!" why? Do you think that your man will leave you for her? That's his own damn fault. She didn't make him do anything, and if he leaves you, he's a fuck up. In Rocky Horror Picture Show, Janet runs to rocky when she's frightened by the [oh so realistic] dead Eddie, and Frank-N-Furter chases her everywhere after Rocky comforts her. Shouldn't he be mad at Rocky for not pushing her away? In A Walk to Remember, Landon's Ex girlfriend seems to think that removing Jamie from the picture will make Landon come back to her. It's all Jamie's fault that Landon doesn't want to be with her? I mean, he didn't even like her before Jamie came along. [I, too, am guilty of this one]. When somebody's husband leaves her for another girl, the woman generally hates the new woman more than she hates her husband. It's all that girl's fault, pulling him away from her!

I mean, yeah people also say "that cheating bastard!" when something goes wrong, but I really notice blaming the girl more.

p.s. I'm watching Rocky Horror again. Fricken A, I love this movie.
